Editing Blog
Hey blog world,
We have been making progress on our final task! After the afternoon of filming yesterday I came home and started the editing process. Although we still have more to film, it is good to get a head start so this part will be done. But first we had to pick an editing software to use for this project. ClipChamp and CapCut. I didn’t have a preference since I have worked with both on previous projects. Both were free and easy to use so I left it up to the group. Capcut was the winner, so I got started. We made sure that all the clips were sent in our final fast group chat so we could all have access. The process editing was fairly simple. We each had our own designated clips to edit and improve. I simply just reviewed the footage and adjusted it by shortening it and removing any unnecessary moments. I was thinking about adding a filter to help the coloring. I thought it would be best to do this at the end when we have all the clips and to discuss this with the group. After editing all the clips they were all put in chronological order, according to the plot. We are still planning to meet later today so we can get the rest of the filming done. All we have to film is the road trip and gas station scenes. Hopefully if we work fast we can bang this out and move on to the next step. I am so excited that this project is fully coming together, slowly but surely. The wait will be worth it!
